East Texas Forest Entomology Seminar

The East Texas Forest Entomology Seminar is scheduled for Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, October 22-23, 2009.  Thanks to special permission from the City of Lufkin, Thursday's session will be held as usual at Kurth Lake Lodge, between Lufkin and Nacogdoches.  The session on Friday will be in Room 117 (Conference Room), Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture at Stephen F. Austin State University. To preregister and prepay your registration with a credit card, visit the Forestry Marketplace.

The traditional Thursday evening meal featuring grilled steaks will be served at Kurth Lake.  The registration fee will be $30.00 for professionals and $7.00 for students and retirees, which includes the Thursday evening meal and coffee breaks.  It is important that you preregister or notify Dave and let him know how many persons to expect from your group, to assure ample food and refreshments.  

 

The meeting is being co-hosted by the Texas Forest Service, Forest Pest Management, and the Center for Applied Studies, Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture, Stephen F. Austin State University.  Foresters who attend the seminar will qualify for CFE credits.
