The East Texas Forest Entomology Seminar is scheduled for Thursday afternoon and Friday morning October 4 and 5.  Thanks to special permission from City of Lufkin and support from the Texas Forestry Association, Thursday’s session will be held as usual at Kurth Lake Lodge, between Lufkin and Nacogdoches.  The session on Friday will be in Room 117 (Conference Room), Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture at Stephen F. Austin State University. The agenda is attached below. Continuing education credits (3.5 credits for Thursday and 3.5 hours for Friday) will be available from the Society of American Foresters for any SAF members that attend.

The traditional Thursday evening meal featuring grilled steaks will be served at Kurth Lake.  The registration fee is $35.00 for professionals and $10.00 for students and retirees, which includes the Thursday evening meal and coffee breaks.  It is important that you notify Dave and let him know how many persons to expect from your group, to assure ample food and refreshments.  To preregister and prepay your registration with a credit card, visit the SFA Marketplace.  The meeting is being co-hosted by the Texas A&M Forest Service, Forest Health, the Center for Applied Studies, Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture, Stephen F.
