Dr. Sheryll B. Jerez joined the faculty of the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture in November, 2007.  Her Ph.D. thesis was on the measurement and modeling of the spatial distribution and emission of airborne pollutants, and measurement of ventilation effectiveness of mechanically ventilated buildings. 

While at UIUC, Dr. Jerez was a recipient of several awards including the “Karl M. Snyder Teaching Excellence Award” and “Incomplete List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students.” Her current research interests are in air quality assessment, modeling and control; and biomass conversion into fuel. Dr. Jerez will be teaching introduction to environmental science, environmental measurements, and air quality assessment at SFA.
