As Director of the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center, I have the distinct pleasure to work with some of the most talented and dedicated individuals in geospatial sciences and information technology. My role is to develop and articulate a clear vision of what our role is to the east Texas region, in regard to emergency management and planning, economic development and natural resources management. Working with me is a management team, made up of two assistant directors and two assistants to the director. These individuals oversee the day-to-day operations of Columbia Center, but also serve as executive officers for the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center System, which currently includes partners at the University of Texas at El Paso, Texas Tech University and the Texas Natural Resources Information Service. My management philosophy is to provide the vision and facilitate the work of our talented staff and partners.
