spacialThe Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree with an emphasis in Spatial Science is a 130 semester-hour program that provides graduates with knowledge and skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), remote sensing, and photogrametry.  It includes a minor (18 semester hours) in GIS.

To manage forests and other renewable natural resources professionals rely not only on maps of the earth's surface but also on specificin formation those mapped areas.

Graduates with the Spatial Science emphasis are eagerly sought by employers in federal, state, and private sectors, including Forestry and Environmental consulting firms.
