In cooperation with the US Forest Service/National Forests & Grasslands in Texas, the NRCS Plants Material Center, and the USFS Southern Research Station, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department will be conducting managed deer hunts at the SFA Experimental Forest during the dates of November 8-16, 2008.  These hunts will be run by TPWD and the NFGT staff in a controlled environment and thus the Experimental Forest will be closed for other activities during this time.
